Endogard All Wormer for Medium Dogs

Virbac was founded in 1968 by veterinarian Pierre-Richard Dick and is now the world’s eighth largest veterinarian pharmaceutical group in the world.  The majority of products sold in Australia are produced in manufacturing sites in NSW.  Virbac is the third largest animal health company in Australia and employs more than 260 people.

Endogard is Virbac’s broad spectrum allwormer for dogs (and cats).  It is suitable for the treatment and control of roundworm (Toxascaris leonina, Toxacara canis), hookworm (Ancylostoma caninum, Ucinaria stenocephala), whipworm (Trichurisspp) and tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp), including hydatids (Echinococcus granulosus).  It does not control heartworm.  Endogard has been independently assessed and approved for use by the National Regulatory Authority in Canberra under the Agvet codes.  Endogard has two main ingredients – praziquantel and oxibendazole.  Praziquantel is effective in controlling tapeworms in dogs and oxibendazole treats other intestinal worms in dogs.  It may be used on dogs (and cats) from two weeks old and the treatment dose is calculated on weight. The medication is easy to administer and has a tasty liver flavour.
