pH values play a vital role in fish health, their colouration and potential breeding. This kit allows you to understand your aquarium pH values, and adjust when necessary.

Fish from different areas thrive under different pH levels. To ensure a mix of fish can thrive in your aquarium, we recommend a neutral pH value, shown as green on the colour chart.

To correct acidic water, use Blue Planet pH Up. To correct alkaline water, use Blue Planet pH Down.

IMPORTANT: Avoid extremely acidic or extremely alkaline aquarium water. All pH corrections should be made gradually (over several days) to allow fish and plant life to adjust to change. We recommend regular monthly water changes of approximately 25% of tank capacity to regulate pH and avoid the accumulation of tooc waste by-products. Ensure new water is treated to remove chlorine before adding to the aquarium STORAGE: Product must be stored in a cool, dry place, and out of direct sunlight.
